Butterfly Swirls

Here's a birthday card for my aunt-in-law. I used the Butterfly Swirls stamp; Genevieve papers, a retired hostess set for the sentiment; and my new favorite ink -- Brilliance Dew Drops. I happened to have some old crystal embellishments, and I glued one on the butterfly head.

July 4th

Happy 4th of July! I love this holiday, and I have many fond memories of celebrating this day in my youth living in northern Iowa.
The size of the image on the left is deceiving because it's actually ATC size. I've been trying to make a "complimentary" ATC with every card I make. I have quite a few ATCs now but I haven't traded any.
The stamp images are from retired TAC sets. The flag image comes from a set of summery images that are perfect for making inchies.

It's Always Springtime

I totally cased Melisa W's card over on the Paper Wings Tuesday Limited Supply challenge. I love the simplicity. I will be making more of this design using the other three stamps that came in this set with different color combos.

Dandy

These "dandy" little guys are growing in my yard and since I don't do yard work per se, they pretty much have free reign. We've been considering xeroscaping the yard, but we just haven't planned it out yet. Meanwhile, I'll just enjoy the brilliant yellow color, take pictures, and make cards!

Seeds of Blessings

These two cards will be "thank you" cards to two friends who gave me a plant as an end-of-the-school-year thank you gift. I don't know if I need to send a "thank you" for a "thank you" but with all my great TAC papers, TAC stamps....I couldn't resist!

Bonjour

This is a retired TAC set that I've never used before!! I love it and I don't know why I haven't used it. I copied the layout that was in the catalogue at the time. I think I'll do more with this set and make a note card set for my sister.

Tulip and Iris

I needed some quick thank you cards so I used a couple images that I already had stamped. I'm planning to go through my stamped images this summer then make cards with those images. I'd love to be the kind of person who can just pull a card from a pile and go. Unfortunately, I tend to wait till the night before the need arises and hope for the best. Hmmm.
